15 Jan 2016 Honda Civic Coupe Gets a Makeover
North Miami Beach car shoppers who were waiting for something to change with the Honda Civic finally got their wish with the 2016 model. The new Honda Civic Coupe gives the venerable line an updated makeover that will please anyone who test drives one.
2016 Honda Civic Coupe Exterior
The engine on the 2016 Civic Coupe is the same as the Civic sedan, but the new sloped roofline, longer wheelbase, and wider body, is an exciting change. The rear tail light lies across the entire deck lid.
2016 Honda Civic Coupe Interior
There is 8.4 more cubic feet inside the new Civic, and rear seat legroom increases enough to make most passengers comfortable. The new seven-inch display audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto give the Coupe some more perks. Honda Sensing is also available.
2016 Honda Civic Coupes Engine
There are two engines offered with the 2016 Civic Coupe. These are a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 158-horsepower, and the new 1.5-liter turbocharged four pot increases that to 174-horsepower. Fuel economy is an estimated 31 mpg city/41 mpg highway for the 2.0 and 31 mpg city/42 mpg highway* with the turbo.
The Civic has been a hit with North Miami Beach drivers for many years, and the new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe should give these same drivers new excitement when behind the wheel. Honda has said they will be adding more variation to the Coupe line, the Si and Type R models, soon.
